This photo is about splitted minds and personalities. I kind of have the feeling that in my mind are two persons living. The wise and clear man who knows what is right and what ethically correct. Who is rational. And on the other side the weak, emotional boy, who lives in a different world.
I kind of always "see" them fighting about what i should do and think. Probably the reason why I have so much problem with decisions.
This may seem weird. But I wanted to express this feeling.

The composition is amazing, very symmetrical and balanced, yet the way this shot is taken makes the audience want to linger and observe every little detail. A lot of things also pop out right when you look at this picture, and one of the things that really stood out to me was the spinal cord and just the way it is centered in the photo. It serves as a strong focal point. Just as a little observation: I think all that tension that the pose represents is in an interesting and simply fantastic contrast with the main object. To me the spinal cord represents weakness and vulnerability and all the tension created by the pose of the model surrounding this weakness makes your audience think more in-depth about the meaning of the photo. Again, you capture your audience (which I admire).
Also, you have an interesting use of light. The shadows add a lot of depth, but for some reason, I find the long shadow on the right hand side a little distracting. I think that with such a balanced composition, the very bright and very dark spots in this shot kinda throw the looker off a little. (I hope that makes some sense).
It's the little details that draw my eyes back to a certain spot. Details such as the wrinkles on the bed (which are fantastic by the way), the tension in the pose, the way the hands are poised. All these things that add to the big picture. So a background detail such as the shadow also draws my attention. I realize the use of light probably does indeed have a much greater meaning that I do not understand, but that's just my little two cents.
Overall, fantastic work and I think this is a great piece. I look forward to many more excellent shots, and I wish you the best of luck on your journey as an artist.
My one feedback is that the high contrast on the left side then lack of contrast on the right side (particularly with the shadow that's falling there) sends my eyes wandering all over - along with the odd composition (the fact that the middle of a photo is not always a natural focal point), it's not really clear where I should be focusing and so it's a bit confusing to look at. However, I don't feel this detracts from the concept and possibly even adds to it depending on interpretation. Personally, my eyes are always drawn back to the light in the upper left of the photo, which pleases my idealism very much.
Overall, a skilled execution of a topic I'm glad to see done with a new depth. Excellent work.
