Important message about art to all!

Ok. I recieved some minutes ago a message from a deviant who asked me this (he/she will stay anonymous) and to be honest I thought about it a lot. Tried to find a right way to deal with that part of art. And I came to a conclusion, which I want to share with you!

I think that you receive a lot of notes as like "wow,nice photos" and "you are very talented".Well all I want is to ask you what have you done for having so many watchers,comments and favourites;and how should I improve my work to be more apreciated.I dont know if I am good enough,but please,can you help me?

First of all i would say. don't think so much about it. it can destroy everything about art (as you can see in todays art world.. money is more important than art). furthermore people will do/like everytime things you don't expect. So it is important to be yourself.. if you try to be like others (in this case me), you will always be a copy, nothing more. Same it is with appreciation. If you do what people like and not what you like you will never create real and unique art.

but yeah. you can totally improve your work by watching as many pics as possible. trying to find out what is expressive. some rules. editing. trying to find out what you want to say and how you convey it the best.
being active in the community, support others, talk etc.

i hope this helps  .. but yeah the first one is the most important i guess. otherwise you will have thousands of fans and not be yourself. I'd rather be(find out who i am) myself than anyone other. so stop comparing yourself with others in expressing yourself. no one can express yourself as good as you



Well.. this is my opinion or guideline. I don't want to say i am following it totally. Nobody is perfect. But i try keep it in mind as often as possible. I hope you read this journal!
